Meet The Technicians
Mallory has been with Chipman Road since November 2017. She first got her marketing degree at Pittsburg State University. Out of college she realized that was not her calling and went to Maple Woods to become a Registered Technician and do what she loves! She and her husband have a daughter, a corgi named Clementine, and two cats named Peaches and Felix.. And of-course, she can't wait to see all of your fur babies at the clinic!
ButtonCarsen has been working for us since 2022 as a veterinary assistant. She recently graduated from Maple Woods veterinary technology program in 2025 and is now one of our RVT's! She has a dog named Penny & two kitties named Lorelai and Bowie. When she's not working at the clinic she loves to spend time outdoors and explore Kansas City.
ButtonI have two dogs and three cats, one cat I recently rescued last fall. In the summer, I love spending time outdoors swimming and fishing. I also love spending time with my friends and family doing fun activities and adventures.
ButtonHaleigh graduated Maple Woods Veterinary Technology School in May of 2023. She has been with us since February of 2024. She and her husband have two dogs named Finley & Frannie. In her free time she loves to show Hereford cattle locally and on the national level, as well as taking part in daily care for the cattle when she goes back home to the family farm.

Todd Rooney, DVM
Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Rooney is a 1989 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine. He also received a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Agriculture’s Honors Program while attending MU. He became an associate at Chipman Road Animal Clinic in 1995, and he and his wife Kim purchased the practice in 2001, then welcomed Dr. Holt as a partner in 2018. The practice continues to grow and thrive in part because of their belief in providing quality pet health care at affordable prices, offering convenient hours of operation, and walk-in care. Dr. Rooney is a member of various national, state, and local Veterinary Associations. He is happily married with two beautiful daughters and a granddaughter, as well as an ever-changing menagerie of four legged family members. They all make their homes in Lee’s Summit. In their spare time they enjoy family outings, community events, boating and lake activities, and spending time in Colorado.
Angela M. Holt, DVM
Veterinarian & Co-Owner
Dr. Angela Holt is co-owner of the clinic and joined our practice in December of 2002. She grew up in this area and graduated from Grain Valley High School. She attended the University of Missouri and graduated in May of 2000 from the College of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, wound repair and ophthalmology. She has been married to her husband, Mark, since August of 1992. Mark is a land surveyor and owns his own company, Eagle Pointe Surveying. They have 2 amazing children who keep them busy. Their daughter, Devyn, is in college at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and she is studying business and plans to pursue a law degree. GBR! Their son, Logan, is a high schooler at Blue Springs South High School and his main passions are baseball, baseball and baseball. She also has 4 dogs that rule the house.... a bossy Yorkie Poo named Willow, a snooty Toy Poodle named Chesney, a crazy Dalmatian named Cruz and a chill Potcake named Croix. During her time away from the clinic, Dr. Holt enjoys traveling to the Caribbean and SCUBA diving with her family. They also bring back back puppies from the islands where they travel to adopt out here in the States.
Allyson P. Cook, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Allyson Cook has been with Chipman Road Animal Clinic since 1992, graduating from the Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She has enjoyed practicing both large and small animal medicine prior to joining Chipman Road. Dr. Cook has membership in the AVMA, MVMA and KCVMA, and focuses on helping clients keep their pets happy and healthy. Dr. Cook and her husband have two adult sons and two grandchildren and love spending all the time they can with them; grilling out, riding horses, organizing a children's camp each summer and traveling.
Faith R. Hawley, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Faith Hawley graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. She started at the practice as a kennel assistant in 2013. Dr. Hawley's professional interests include surgery, dermatology and feline medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association and is Fear Free Certified. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, horseback riding and spending time with her two cats, Nora and Mowgli.
Dr Kessler, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Kessler is a Kansas City native and graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After starting her family, she has spent several years working as a relief veterinarian.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Kessler enjoys spending time with her four children and caring for her two cats. She looks forward to meeting our clients and their pets and building lasting connections in the community.
